My last homestay in Vietnam was absolutely stunning.  Our Stray group arrived to a remote village where again, our hosts prepared dinner and breakfast for us and we all stayed in one room together with pillow like mat beds and mosquito nets.  Maybe too close for comfort for many but I had certainly gotten used to the concept.  Thankfully there were bathrooms which provided privacy to change.

Our group rented bikes and we rode around for hours until the sunset.  We snapped a lot of photos and just soaked up the views.  One of the most memorable bike rides I’ve been on, squeaky wheels and all. After sunset we enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal and a local folk dance show that danced just for us with live music.
